What is your idea of perfect happiness? Being on my sailboat with a fair wind, good music, and a clear horizon ahead.
Which living person do you most admire? Those who have the courage to reinvent themselves when their „old playbook“ no longer fits who they’ve become. Plus Martin Luther King and Evil Knievel.
What is your greatest extravagance? Having time.
What do you consider the most overrated virtue? Certainty. In the „center of the storm,“ curiosity is much more useful.
What is the quality you most like in a leader? Openheartedness combined with the grit to see things through.
Which talent would you most like to have? To be as fluent in every language I encounter as I am in English and German. (I’m currently working on my Italian).
What is your current state of mind? Highly rhythmic. I am currently learning the drums—mostly to prove that you’re never too old to be a total beginner at something.
What was the best concert you’ve ever seen? Oasis, 2025. Proving that some things—and some people—are absolutely worth the wait. And when people come together for music, true, energetic connection emerges.
What is your idea of misery? A world without music, art, dogs or rocky road ice cream.
